  • Zones 1 & 2 -  November 10
  • Zones 3 & 4 -  November 10
  • Crossbow -  November 26

2001 Kentucky Elk Hunt
The early quota hunt will be October 6-12, 2001
The late quota hunt will be December 1-7, 2001

Canada Geese:

Western Goose Zone (except Ballard Reporting Area) - December 2, 2000-January 31, 2001, except in Fulton County portion where the season will extend through February 15, 2001

Ballard Reporting Area - December 16, 2000 - January 31, 2001

Ballard WMA Season - December 20, 2000 - January 31, 2001

Pennyrile-Coalfield Goose Zone (including West-Central Canada Goose subzone) - December 28, 2000 - January 31, 2001

Eastern Goose Zone - December 13, 2000 - January 31, 2001

Northeast Goose Zone - January 16 - January 31, 2001 (this extends the Cave Run season 7 days)

Henderson / Sloughs - Public access to the refuge area will be closed beginning November 1, instead of October 15

White-fronted Geese:

Statewide - November 23, 2000 - January 31, 2001

Snow Geese:

November 23, 2000 - February 4, 2001, except in that part of Fulton County that lies in the Western Goose Zone where the regular season extends through February 15, 2001

Conservation Order Season - February 5 - March 31, 2001, except in the part of Fulton County that lies in the Western Goose Zone where it opens February 16 and runs through March 31.

Youth-Only Waterfowl Days:

Eastern duck zone - October 14 and 15, 2000

Western duck zone - February 3 and 4, 2001

DUCK
November 23, 2000 - January 21, 2001
